Book Description

Isolated and cut off from society, university graduate Rafael leads a desolate life in the sun-scorched region of Andalusia, Spain. He attributes his isolation to his own originality, believing himself superior to everyone else; yet, deep down, he knows his outlook stems from profound insecurity. When his attitude ultimately leaves him homeless, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery to confront a fundamental question: can anyone truly be trusted?

This is an excellent novel—thoughtful, beautifully crafted, and impossible to set aside once you begin reading. Set in Spain, the author captures the atmosphere so vividly that you can almost feel the heat radiating from the pages. A truly compelling and elegantly written book.

Very engaging and dynamic story about young philosophy graduate whose apathy and low self esteem lead him to an incredible journey of self discovery and enlightenment. It is a story about human relationships and conflicts rooted in different individual perspectives and breakdown of communication. Deeply moving and highly relatable to Generation Z in search of meaningful life paths and desirable but elusive fulfillment. I would dare to say this book is a neoclassic on par with the works of Albert Camus. Excellent and enjoyable read, which will no doubt make you think.
