Since the dawn of time, the Glows have maintained the illusion that the world is full of colour. However, after a chance encounter with their arch-nemesis, the Negatives, Gillray Glow is faced with a profound choice: can the world make room for two opposing truths, or must the lie continue for eternity?
Darren Mackey was born in the Cathedral city of Armagh in 1973. He has lived with his wife Sharon and their three children, Conchur, Niamh and Caoimhin in the picturesque village of Benburb for the last twenty years. An avid music and football fan, he began his writing career at the ripe old age of forty and after considerable setbacks his first book The Jolly Giraffe was published in 2024. He is now currently working on the much anticipated follow up, a work entitled The Glows, which should be completed and published sometime in 2025.
