Every year when autumn arrives in the forest the pigs are let out to eat the fallen acorns.
These inquisitive pigs soon discover a hole in the school fence while foraging for acorns and decide to explore.
They hadn’t quite expected the welcome they received from the children and the fearful orange monsters they met!
They were very relieved to escape as soon as they could and hide back in the safety of the forest outside.
Jo grew up in North London. She is married to Tony, and has 3 children and six grandchildren. The family later moved to Dorset, very near the New Forest, where Jo continued working with young children in early year’s education and Nursery schools. Jo is also a qualified holistic and beauty therapist and has recently retired from her business after more than 20 years. Jo enjoys walking in the New Forest and it is here she can immerse herself in nature and focus on her writing.
