Author Mike Huss to Attend His Book Signing at Waterstones, Ashford
The acclaimed author of It Must Have Been the Compo, Mike Huss, will be attending the book signing event of his book on 21st December 2019. The event will be hosted by Waterstones, Ashford. The author will be meeting book aficionados and signing the copies of his book It Must Have Been the Compo for them. It is a wonderful opportunity for the residents of Ashford to meet the author. It Must Have Been the Compo by Mike Huss is a moving historical novel. The setting of the novel is in 1964, just after a war has ended. The protagonist of the novel is a 19-year-old soldier, Jack, who has no idea that another war is about to begin. He is a private soldier, a confidante of generals, a correspondent with a prime minister, an instructor of RAF officers and a bogeyman for the top military policeman. He joined the army when he was just 18 and volunteered to serve in Aden, where he met his wife, Janet. Mike has also been the Personal Director and Tribunal Advocate of the N. Ireland Training Board.
