The book revolves around the story of a woman who was found dead under some mysterious conditions. The interesting thing about the woman was that she was formerly admitted to the Riverview Hospital and her doctor was found murdered. The investigation of the crime unveils the involvement of other characters in the plot which makes the book fascinating and interesting. 

 

The author is known for his work in the field of psychiatry in Canada. He has worked as a psychiatry professor at Queen’s University and he had been a president of the Ontario and B.C psychiatric associations. The author had also been a medical director at the Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam.
