Syd Slid is a colourfully illustrated children's book with rhymes. It is based on the character of a small ambitious snail Syd who aspires to write his name on the moon via its snail trail. Every night he and his comrade Ollie, the owl, set out on numerous adventures to make it possible. How he manages to leave his mark on the moon is quite interesting.
