Here is a list of book recommendations we picked as part of our Autumn Collection...Choose the one that hits you the most.
1. An Autumn's Tale by Christopher Hayes-Brown
Snowdrop Hall is preparing for an autumn feast and a Halloween celebration but the animals are planning much more than an ordinary party. There will be songs with Tilly and Pip also taking part. Oliver Fox and Ollie the (German Shepherd) have their own performances ready. The wizards of Snowdrop Hall are involved too...which means a little magic is never far away. It is an excellent choice for younger readers who want autumn to feel colourful and full of possibilities.

2. The Endless Autumn by Annabelle Knight

He introduces Autumn to a much more luxurious world but there is something dangerous beneath its attraction. The deeper she gets into it...the harder it becomes to leave. Perhaps the bigger problem is whether she still wants the old life she was trying to save. The Endless Autumn is intended for adult readers and gives seasonal reading a much hotter...darker direction.
3. Big Fat Ted by Keith Brown
Jake does not need much to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. A pair of magic pyjamas and a very active imagination can do the job. As Big Fat Ted, he has adventures throughout the year.
Autumn is one stop in a story that keeps changing with the seasons until Jake eventually reaches Christmas. It is playful, strange and deliberately larger than life. While searching for acorns, a group of pigs that were too curious found a hole in a nearby school fence. Naturally, they decided to see what was on the other side. The children are pleased to meet their unexpected visitors. The pigs are considerably less pleased by the strange orange monsters waiting there. Suddenly, the forest they wandered away from seems like a very sensible place to be.

Not every book that is based on a season needs a plot.
