This collection of original verses in limerick style, themed around animals and the alphabet, is intended to amuse and entertain, and perhaps even encourage your child to experiment with “word-play”. An early introduction to the joy and power of poetry.
Alick Glass was born in Scotland and educated at The Royal High School of Edinburgh.
It was there that he developed his passion for words, and in particular poetry and lyrics.
He is an accomplished after-dinner speaker, and his lyrical work has been performed on the London stage.
Alick’s Animal Limericks is a compilation of rhymes originally written to amuse and entertain his grandchildren Zachy, Rafi, Eva and Gabriel, to whom he dedicates this book.
