When Vronnie Carter started work, she began in an office doing a variety of jobs, e.g. filing, typewriting, switchboard. Then Martial Arts became popular and she went on to practise Judo, Ju-Jitsu and Aikido for over twenty-five years, eventually running a full-time dojo with her husband.

She sees writing fictional novels as a pleasing way of fulfilling inactive physical hours with a written fantasy created by the imagination. A recreational entertainment of make-believe that exists only in the mind, and as such can be thought and written about at any time of the day, or evening.
