On Saturday, David R. Lord will be a book signing for the adventure sequel he has written under the title of ‘The Figment Wars: Through the Portals’, which is the first from the series followed by ‘Search for the Caretaker’. The book signing event will commence at Chipping Sodbury Library. In the first book, Thomas and Isaac are brothers accompanied by their young cousin Emily. Kids accidentally stumble upon a portal which sucks them into Realm of Imagination, full of beings very different from them. Struggling to prove their identity, they found out there is someone who wouldn’t let them go home. What terrible plan they have for human children? In the second book Thomas and Isaac away from dear Emily, just started school, when their day is ruined even before the first class. There is a horrible conspiracy which causes a dangerous enemy from the Realm of Imagination to resurface. Can they defeat Torvik without Emily’s help? David and his partner live in South Gloucestershire. He loves, acting, cosplaying and writing. He is a pre-school teacher who enjoyed writing fanfiction until he was pushed by good friends to write something more serious.
