To encourage the local authors, the Cirencester Scene Magazine featured Alistair Robin Gorthy, the author of Pariche on 17th May 2019. The magazine suggested that the book will be loved by the people who like a complicated yet thrilling mystery with multiple strands. The magazine also offered a chance of winning the copies of their favourite book by their favourite author. 




The Book Pariche is a dark mysterious story with a twisted and complicated plot. It revolves around a lad Soren Karlsson, whose girlfriend left him for his lifeless attitude and his existence as an Associate Professor at Berkeley. He plans to take a break and pays a visit to Mississippi. He is unaware of the intention of Jedemiah Pariche. Pariche is a bad-tempered guy who considers taking care of friends as his duty. He regards Charlie Wilson as a dreadful person. Wilson finds a gangster as he is planning to take Soren down. Soren is not sure about his trip and is now finding Mississippi a fearful place. He is also concerned about the safety of his mother Christina, who is investigating a Mafiosi gangster. Soren always had a commitment issue that cost him his true love.



Alistair Robin Gorthy is a lively person who enjoys reading good literature, listening to music, watching movies in the theatre and taking walks in the countryside. He lives in Cotswolds with his wife Heather. He is a passionate writer and enjoys writing. He has a keen interest in US politics and philosophy.
