The vivacious author and psychologist Linda Beckett’s interview was published by basingstokegazette.co.uk on 5th July 2019 for her book What's Wrong, Arty? Linda shared about her life journey and inspiration to write a book about the mental health of school-going kids. She said that she started writing this book after completing her psychology course. The author found that school going kids go through a lot of mental stress and no one has ever spoken about mental health at such a tender age. She extended her talk and added that: “I have tried to raise awareness about this issue through a fictional bear. I suggest and recommend this book to the parents, teachers and kids of course”.

The book What's Wrong, Arty? highlights the mental health of school-going children which is one of the neglected and less-spoken issues of our society. The story is about a bear named Arty who is upset with day to day issues but is unable to discuss it openly. Then he finds some techniques which help him tackle daily problems. The astounding author Linda Beckett is an Educational Psychologist. She holds a degree in Psychology (Hons) from Open University. She is also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society. She is happily living with her family in Hampshire.
