We are delighted to share about one of our most fascinating author meetups and book signing events that happened at Polly Book shop with Lynda Vicars, the author of Magnus, Morgan and Myra. The event took place on 25th July, Friday, where readers got the chance to engage with a writer whose stories captivatingly reflect the choices and struggles of characters navigating different phases of life. The event was an enriching literature conversation among inspiring minds.
Magnus, Morgan and Myra is a fascinating collection of three short stories putting a light on the valuable human experience across generations and continents. Magnus struggles with identity and the perplexing world of peers and adults, whereas Morgan faces isolation and the truth while travelling and working abroad, and while these two are battling with their own situations, Myra reflects on her choices around marriage and immigration, all the sacrifices made for her family but not for herself. Each of these three stories stands alone, yet together they weave a broader exploration of resilience, belonging, and the decisions that shape our lives. Click here to read this amazing read.
