Mary Finnerty-Morris will be attending the Launch Event of her book One Chance

The author of One Chance Mary Finnerty-Morris will be attending her book launch event at Mc Brides in Galway, Ireland. The event will be attended by novel aficionados and book lovers alike. Mary will be signing copies and answering the questions by fans of novels. Mc Brides is a favourite local tavern in Galway and is the ideal spot for the unveiling of One Chance. One Chance is a captivating novel about a girl named June as she braves on her life despite her routine ups and downs. June was raised by her grandparents when she was abandoned by her own mother. She is in love with a man only to lose him later on. One Chance explores the mettle of a young girl as she battles with herself and her situations. Mary Finnerty-Morris is a passionate writer with a vast portfolio including fiction and poetry. Mary comes from a traditional Irish family and enjoys walks by the sea with her dog and exploring the outdoors.

Local Library Will Host Author Talk and Book Signing of Acclaimed Children’s Book Mary and Her New Friends

Redondo Beach Public Library will be hosting an author talk and book signing of Mary and her new Friends by Fawzia Reza. Children will enjoy a story time reading from the author and can get their copies of Mary and her New Friends signed as well. Mary and Her New Friends is a delightful children’s book. The story is about Mariam, a jolly young girl with a talent to make new friends. Mariam is called Mary lovingly by her friends, she gains more friends when she demonstrates her abilities to draw beautiful henna patterns on hand. The book also features colouring pages of Henna patterns for children to enjoy. Fawzia Reza is an educationalist and children’s author, she holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and has a Masters of Childhood Education. She delivers talks across the world on various subjects which are about education of young children. She lives in California with her husband and two daughters.

Tara Ingham to Showcase Her Books at a Stand at Pop-Culture Convention

CapriCon, a pop-culture convention will be held at Rockhampton Showgrounds. The Author Tara Ingham will have a stand at the event to endorse her sci-fi books, Once I Rise and Once I Remember. Her second book, Once I Remember will be launched by the end of March. It will hopefully a great exposure for her books to the right audience. The attendants will also be able to get the signed copies of her books. Once I Rise is an interesting story about the alternative. It is a collection of colourful characters who have lived multiple lives over thousands of years. Once I Remember is rather spell bounding addition to a collection of sci-fi books where Mina a revenant has a mission with Jethro as her ally. She has a chance to explore the path of magic but it raises a lot of questions for her. Australian author Tara Ingham began writing at 14, quickly developing a love for the written word. She went on to undertake a tertiary writing course in 2010 and then study creative writing and literature at university. After graduating in 2014, Tara completed her fourth full manuscript and began editing on a casual basis, publishing her debut novel, Once I Rise, in 2018.

An Upcoming School Visit by Margret Scott, the Author of Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport

Children’s Book Author Margret Scott has been invited by Strathpeffer Primary School to spend a day with school students and talk to them about reading books and its benefits. She will also explain to them the process of getting a book published and why she was inspired to write her book. Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport is an interesting children’s book with beautifully illustrated pictures of a lovable and gentle Dalmatian, Jimmy. She needs to see the vet so she can get the passport and fly to her Scottish family. She is excited about the flight but she is afraid of visiting the vet. Join her as she overcomes her fears. Margret Scott is a debut author with Scottish origins. In Northern Georgia, she worked as a Camp Counsellor, Unit Leader and Sports Director. She also worked as an Operations/Program Assistant at YMCA Camp Sea Gull/Camp Seafarer where she met Jimmy. In 2015, she moved back to Scotland with Jimmy. This story is based on real-life experiences with Jimmy.

Margaret Scott, the author of ‘Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport’ Will be attending an all Day School Event

In preparation of National Pet Day on 11th April, Strathpeffer Primary School has invited Margret Scott is to talk about her book ‘Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport’. She will interact with the students and sign the copies of her book. ‘Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport’ is a story of a lovely Dalmatian named Jimmy, who was born in the USA and met her new Scottish mummy in North Carolina. As she turned three she was required to visit the vet so she could acquire her pet passport to meet her Scottish family. Although she was excited about flying on the aeroplane, she did not look forward to going to the vet. The story is about overcoming her fears and becoming a brave Dalmatian. Margaret Scott spent her childhood in North East of Scotland, she graduated in Sports Development and Health Promotion at University. She worked as a Camp counsellor in Northern Georgia for nine years in the USA. For seven years she worked as an Operations/Program Assistant, where she met Jimmy. Later, she moved back to Scotland in 2015, to help her terminally ill mother. This helped the children’s book author in writing about real life events about Jimmy.

Drakies Primary School has invited children’s book author Margaret Scott for a full day visit. She will be interacting with students and read from her book Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport for them. She hopes that she could inspire compassion for pet animals in young students through her book. Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport is a beautifully illustrated children’s book about a loving and adventurous Dalmatian named Jimmy. When it was time for her to visit her Scottish family, the three-year-old Jimmy was required to visit a vet for getting her passport but she was scared of it. Would she be able to overcome her fears? Margret Scott was born and raised in North East of Scotland. She graduated from University with a degree in Sports Development and Health Promotion. Later, she moved to Northern Georgia and worked as a Camp Counsellor, Unit Leader and Sports Director. In 2015, she moved back to Scotland.

Drakies Primary School has invited Margaret Scott for a full day visit. During her visit, she will present the book Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport to the students of primary classes. She is looking forward to introducing the book and answer many interesting questions of the smart kids from the school. Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport is a fun children’s book about a pet dog Dalmatian, named Jimmy. She is loveable, friendly and is excited to fly on the plane so she can meet her Scottish family. But to ride the plane she must go to the vet so she can be issued a passport. What should she do to overcome her fear of the vet? Margret Scott is of Scottish descent and studied Sports Development and Health Promotion at University. She spent many years in the USA as a camp counsellor in summers. She also worked as an Operations/Program Assistant in Eastern North Carolina working at YMCA Camp. That’s where she met Jimmy which gave her the opportunity to write about real life events of Jimmy and contributed to her first book.

The Author of ‘The Bee Hive’ is Invited at a School to Interact with the Children

Beechwood Primary School in Runcorn is hosting an event where Simon Adepetun, the Author of ‘The Bee Hive’ is invited. He will interact with congregated young students and initiate a discussion regarding his book and hopefully inspire them for healthier reading habits. ‘The Bee Hive’ is a children’s book full of adventure and fun. It is the story of eleven-year-old Daniel and his new friend Benji. Daniel’s life was standard and very uneventful until his new friend Benji presented him with an exciting discovery, a beehive that can transform into a den. Everything becomes thrilling and confusing when two strange men come into the play. Also, Daniel has a doll-obsessed sister who is very nosy and annoying. Simon Adepetun is a loving husband and a proud father of three adorable children. He graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in English Studies and a Postgraduate certificate in Theatre Studies. Simon is a full-time employee as a Sales manager but spending quality time with his family is always his priority.

Marc O'Brien, the Author of ‘The Final Fence’ will be Featured in a Podcast

‘The Final Fence: Sophomores in The Saddle’ by Marc O'Brien will be the topic of discussion in the podcast. Local School Hosting a Book Reading Event for ‘The Bluebell Wood’ by Kelly Wright

St. Thomas More Catholic School has invited Kelly Wright to read her book at the school assembly for the students. She will be reading from her book and introducing the book to students. Kelly hopes this will be great exposure for children to books and encourage book reading in children. ‘The Bluebell Wood’ is a picture book for young readers which is both engaging and informative. It talks about a little girl who visits her little friends in the bluebell woods. Her friends are small animals from woods like the badger. Kelly Wright lives in Berkhamsted. The inspiration to write this book came from her own childhood memories of a very similar bluebell wood she used to frequently visit. Almost 34 years ago, at age 7 she remembers writing a similar book. She now works with pre-school age children at a local school.
