Book Lovers Invited to the Book Signing Event of Louisa by Jacqueline Carpenter

The Book Signing of acclaimed novel Louisa will be held at Hotel Los Alcazares in Spain. Book lovers are invited to get their copy signed and enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar. Louisa is a wonderfully written debut novel by Jacqueline Carpenter. The Story revolves around a young girl of 15, Louisa. The protagonist lives a happy life in London, however, trouble arrives with the news of the Second World War. The characters are well portrayed and their stories really entice the readers into their lives. The British author Jacqueline Carpenter has a tremendous gift for novel writing, her debut novel is the evidence of her writing skills. Jacqueline is from Essex and is a mother of a grown-up son and daughter. She enjoys strolling about the beaches of Spain, where she spends most of her time enjoying the weather, cuisine and beautiful people.

Author Margaret Scott Will Be Visiting Holm Primary School to Read Her Book to Children

The Author of Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport will be heading on to Holm Primary School in Inverness. Margaret will be reading her book to children by visiting various classrooms. She is excited and looking forward to sharing her story with young children and encourage bravery. Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport is a delightful and rejuvenating children’s book by Margaret Scott. The story is about Jimmy a cute lovely Dalmatian from the United States. Jimmy’s simple and innocent life revolved around playing in the sun with her friends however she finds a new Scottish family who wants to take her along to Scotland, the problem was, Jimmy had to get a pet passport by the vet. Jimmy was always scared of the vets. The beautiful story emphasizes on promoting courage in young children as they read how Jimmy overcomes her fear of the vet. The author Margaret Scott is a Scottish writer and dog lover. She was a Sports Director in the United States and later became a programme Assistant at the YMCA in North Carolina. She met Jimmy there and later had to move back to Scotland to look after her ill mother. Upon her return, she was inspired to start writing.

Ashridge visitors Catherine, is hosting a Book Signing Event which will be attended by Kelly Wright. She will be promoting and signing the copies of her children’s book ‘The Bluebell Wood’. A great turn out of attendants for the event is expected. ‘The Bluebell Wood’ is an engaging and informative picture book for children. The story is about a little girl who went to the woods full of bluebells and visited her friends there. Kelly Wright calls Berkhamsted her home and is an educator for pre-school age children. She was inspired to write this book from her childhood memories of a very similar bluebell woods. She also remembers writing a similar book at age 7, almost 34 years ago.

John Westley, the Author of The Acquisition invited as a Guest Speaker by Frankston Library

Author John Westley has been requested to deliver a talk at the Frankston Library about his novel The Acquisition. John has planned to talk about his inspiration for the storyline and the important aspects of society he has included in his book. Hopefully, he will be able to share his experience about writing the book and getting it published. The Acquisition is a contemporary fiction about corporate ruthlessness of bigger businesses and resilience of smaller traders. The narcissist entrepreneurs running enterprises can go to any length to weed out the competition from the smaller businesses performing well. The story is set in Melbourne, Australia, but readers around the globe who have worked in the corporate workforce will find it relatable and characters that feel realistic for any part of the world. John Westley received his degree in Adult Learning and Development and a Diploma in Freelance Journalism. he spent seven years in Linköping, Sweden working as an English teacher. Later, he gained 20 years’ experience as a professional writer and senior manager across a wide range of industry sectors in Australia. John and his Swedish wife Susanne have four children and currently live in Mt Eliza, Melbourne, Australia.

Author Christine Johnson Will Be Reading at The Book Bench Trail at Staffordshire University

The National Literary Trust is organising The Book Bench Trail at Staffordshire University’s Thompsons Children's Library. There will be book readings and children's craft activities. Author Christine Johnson will be attending the event. She will read from her children’s book Max, Mouse and the Doll's House. She hopes to interact with many young readers. Max, Mouse and the Doll's House is an interesting children’s book about a little boy named Max who enjoys playing with the dollhouse that was once owned by her Nani. One night he dreamed that the cellar door of the doll’s house led to an enchanted jungle where a little chimpanzee has lost his family at a party. Max and the mouse set on an adventure to reunite the guy with his family. Christine Johnson was born in Staffordshire and was raised in Anglo-Irish family. She went to a Catholic convent and grammar school and graduated in business studies from University. She is a mother to an amazing daughter and grandmother to lovely grandchildren, Max and Kristen.

Upcoming Book Launch Event for ‘Elephant on Main Street’ by B A Kilpatrick

Madden's a local bar in the hometown of B A Kilpatrick will be hosting a book launch event for the darling book ‘Elephant on Main Street’ where he will introduce her book and hopefully sign a few copies of his freshly released book. ‘Elephant on Main Street’ is a memoir of a life shortened by childhood leukaemia. The story is told from the perspective of young Eamon, an almost seven-year-old boy living in Northern Ireland during 1960s who shared and described the events that have yet to follow and will affect his family members. The plot is based on real-life events and actual statements delivered by Eamon in his life. B A Kilpatrick is a husband, a father and an architect who currently works and lives in London. He was born and raised in Northern Ireland and studied architect in Liverpool. He married a Canadian furniture designer, Patricia. He is involved in the business of residential regeneration on the large scale and is also a Senior Partner at PRP in Central London.

Local Library Will Host Author Talk and Book Signing of Acclaimed Children’s Book Mary and Her New Friends

Redondo Beach Public Library will be hosting an author talk and book signing of Mary and her new Friends by Fawzia Reza. Children will enjoy a story time reading from the author and can get their copies of Mary and her New Friends signed as well. Mary and Her New Friends is a delightful children’s book. The story is about Mariam, a jolly young girl with a talent to make new friends. Mariam is called Mary lovingly by her friends, she gains more friends when she demonstrates her abilities to draw beautiful henna patterns on hand. The book also features colouring pages of Henna patterns for children to enjoy. Fawzia Reza is an educationalist and children’s author, she holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and has a Masters of Childhood Education. She delivers talks across the world on various subjects which are about education of young children. She lives in California with her husband and two daughters.

Tara Ingham to Showcase Her Books at a Stand at Pop-Culture Convention

CapriCon, a pop-culture convention will be held at Rockhampton Showgrounds. The Author Tara Ingham will have a stand at the event to endorse her sci-fi books, Once I Rise and Once I Remember. Her second book, Once I Remember will be launched by the end of March. It will hopefully a great exposure for her books to the right audience. The attendants will also be able to get the signed copies of her books. Once I Rise is an interesting story about the alternative. It is a collection of colourful characters who have lived multiple lives over thousands of years. Once I Remember is rather spell bounding addition to a collection of sci-fi books where Mina a revenant has a mission with Jethro as her ally. She has a chance to explore the path of magic but it raises a lot of questions for her. Australian author Tara Ingham began writing at 14, quickly developing a love for the written word. She went on to undertake a tertiary writing course in 2010 and then study creative writing and literature at university. After graduating in 2014, Tara completed her fourth full manuscript and began editing on a casual basis, publishing her debut novel, Once I Rise, in 2018.

An Upcoming School Visit by Margret Scott, the Author of Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport

Children’s Book Author Margret Scott has been invited by Strathpeffer Primary School to spend a day with school students and talk to them about reading books and its benefits. She will also explain to them the process of getting a book published and why she was inspired to write her book. Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport is an interesting children’s book with beautifully illustrated pictures of a lovable and gentle Dalmatian, Jimmy. She needs to see the vet so she can get the passport and fly to her Scottish family. She is excited about the flight but she is afraid of visiting the vet. Join her as she overcomes her fears. Margret Scott is a debut author with Scottish origins. In Northern Georgia, she worked as a Camp Counsellor, Unit Leader and Sports Director. She also worked as an Operations/Program Assistant at YMCA Camp Sea Gull/Camp Seafarer where she met Jimmy. In 2015, she moved back to Scotland with Jimmy. This story is based on real-life experiences with Jimmy.
