Euan is a sports enthusiast who recycles his prosthetic leg. His mother Amy was given a copy of Carmen Powell’s book Matthew and the Magic Goat and in return, he has donated his prosthetic leg to take with her on the school visits.

Matthew and the Magic Goat is an adventure story of Matthew who lost his dog, Sprite, in the woods. A magical goat comes to the rescue and Matthew suddenly gains superpowers. The boy Matthew has a physical difference, however, this is not highlighted in the book and he has the adventures like any other kid.
