Austin Macauley’s gripping biography, Transit of Fiordland by Frank Yardley, got a review by a blog, Kate Loves Travel. The blogger mentions that it is a perfect book for people who love outdoor adventures as she does.  She also applauded the author for his art of telling stories within a story which brings life to the book. Moreover, this book blows the fire within her to explore the wild and unexplored side of New Zealand. The book is about the traversing experience of the author in the Fiordland National Park New Zealand, back then in 1974. The author has also served in World War II which gives a perspective of basically two characters of totally different generations. The characters are not only different in generations but also in appearance. This book is developed from the letters and journals of the author’s diary which depicts his experience by the passing time.

The author of this biography is adventurous and has spent his life exploring Australia and New Zealand. He studied arts at a university in New Zealand then he moved to Australia with his family. He got done with his MBA in 2002 and worked in the university sector.
