Born in Liverpool to a French mother and a Somali father, sales expert Alistaire Jama rose through the ranks at Thomson Yellow Pages before gaining his MBA at BT. He later became sales director for 118118 media, then commercial director for the Guardian Media Group, focusing on the Manchester Evening News. He has achieved outstanding results within some of the fastest moving sales organisations in the world. It’s this experience combined with a desire to demonstrate ‘sales is a science’ that motivated Alistaire to write this book, knowing full well selling is feared by so many and revered by so few.
