Alix Gardiner was born and educated in the UK, and has a degree in fashion design. She has been in business both in the USA and Barbados. The author trained as an ophthalmic assistant in the USA where she lived with her family for several years. She returned to the UK in 2010. Alix loves writing for children and loves walking her little dog.
