Anne Johnson
Born within the sound of St Nicholas's Church bells in Liverpool, Anne Johnson née Anne Taft, entered this world in 1953 as a true 'Scouser' - a nickname for all Liverpudlians. A committed Christian, she came to know of the Lord in her thirties, long after suffering years of deprivation, abuse and domestic violence. Her penchant for poetry developed as she found great comfort and healing in words she composed into prose based on her own life experiences. Her poetry is designed now to help others to achieve emancipation, refuge and healing in a loving and forgiving God.
