After graduating in medicine at Southampton Emma worked in research for a few years before doing her registration year and then specialising in psychiatry. She also has a qualification in Psychodynamic counselling. Combined with over twenty years of medical experience this has provided her with a good insight into human nature.
Her lifelong interest in Fantasy was stimulated further by meeting various patients who were confused over what was fantasy and what was real in their lives. Dreams are important as they are a gateway into the unconscious mind.
