Gabi Noble-Jamieson
The author was born in Duesseldorf, Germany, in 1958. Gabi qualified as a medical doctor in 1985 at Duesseldorf University. She went to London to work at the Hammersmith Hospital where she met her future husband, Charles, who is also a paediatrician. After her marriage to Charles in 1987, Gabi moved to the UK and started work in the Paediatric Liver Transplant Unit at Addenbrookes University Hospital in Cambridge. Gabi retired in 2018 after 30 years of service at Addenbrookes. Gabi and Charles have four adopted children; Philip, Aaron, Molly and Aleshia. The family lives in rural Suffolk with springador dog, Tess.
The illustrator graduated from Falmouth Art College in 1998 and since then worked as a freelance artist and participated in national exhibitions. Katharine lives in Suffolk with her husband, their two daughters and a cocker spaniel.
