Born in Nottingham, England, Jo migrated to Australia as a teenager. Always a passionate poetry writer, she published two books of humorous verse portraying life's embarrassments and domestic misadventures. She also wrote a novel set in the cane fields of tropical Queensland. A Crushing Affair is a story of romance and betrayal, culminating in a murder. This new book, Double Trouble, is based upon a mischievous, high-spirited dog which Jo knew in her early childhood. It had two tails and was a delight and fascination to all the local young children.
