Maria Veneke Ylikomi

Jan Fleischmann, photoreporter in Mariestad, western Sweden, makes wildlife stories and covers international sports events, among these he has followed the Women’s World Cup 1995 to 2015.
He has been fascinated about the wild and threatened animals since childhood. He did his first East African safari in Kenya at the age of 15 and has returned many times.
Jan has taken all the photos in this book except where anything else is mentioned and he has written the field stories and the photo advices.
Maria Veneke Ylikomi, from Blekinge, southern Sweden, works as a language consultant within the areas of proofreading, text editing and writing. She regularly writes articles for the Swedish magazine Gränslöst (borderless/limitless in the Swedish language), with the theme of human rights, democracy and tolerance. News about justice – for all. Maria is a global citizen. As a Goodwill Ambassador for the international non-profit organization Globcal International, Maria is a global advocate for peace, human rights and the environment. Since May 2018, she is a member of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association. Maria is Ambassador of Sweden for the International Organization for Defenders of Peace and Human Rights.
