Yorkshire born and bred, Vivienne McGill was educated at Huddersfield High School. Retired from work in financial services in Leeds, she now lives in Pontefract. A friendly blackbird who enjoyed raisins from her doorstep was the inspiration for Vivienne to write Tatty the Bold Blackbird.
Tatty Blackbird is not very good-looking, but he finds true love with his beautiful singing. He stands up to bullies and bravely protects his family and looks after his grown-up chicks in the garden....
