Bill Dawson

Bill Dawson was a journalist all his life, having started work at the age of 16. He ran a press agency before the 2nd World War, in Camberley near Reading. He sold stories to Fleet Street about happenings in Berkshire; and carried on as a journalist after the war. He had regular features in both Motor Cycling and Motorcycle magazines. These he wrote alongside his newspaper work. He often reported crime and understood the criminal world as well as anybody. Once he retired, he wrote books.
