Blessing Elebra

The author was born to Nigerian and American parents and is British, thus identifies himself as a 'Child of the World', staring at the stars above and hence, his nom de plume - Starchild. His academic achievements include a BSc in Human Biology and an MSc in Medical Microbiology; perhaps, this scientific direction must have stemmed from a curious mind and his love of nature, and its wisdom. He is currently studying for a PGCE in Science, specialising in Chemistry. As a child, he was generally good at sports and passionate about books, chess and music. He has also earned a living as a disc jockey. He is at ease with each platform and is able to juggle and find inspiration and familiarity in music, poetry, nature and science. As if the same language is echoed through the forces of rhythms, harmony and melody, present in his poetic license. A combination of all the aforementioned circumstances has brought him to a point where he seems to have developed a penchant for prose and verse and, most notably, sonnets.
