Francesca Bell
Francesca Bell had a long-held dream to write books. The Twins from Corncockle Bottom is the fulfilment of this dream. It was inspired by the vivid imaginations of not only her three granddaughters but the pupils at the local school where, as a volunteer, she listened to young children not only while they read but also as they regaled her with tall tales and snippets of stories from their own lives.
When not writing she might be found meandering by the rivers and canals near her home in Hebden Bridge with her beloved cocker spaniel, Snoopy.
In her life before becoming an author Francesca owned and ran a busy restaurant and was then the executive assistant to the CEO of a large NHS Trust.
Her next book, continuing the adventures of the twins, will be out shortly.
