Mark Lindenberg

Mark grew up in Seaforth on Sydney’s northern beaches and, from an early age, was involved in both sport and drama (school plays).

He wrote his first poem The Dingo as a school project, which was placed in the Balgowlah Boys High’s ‘Book of Achievement’.

After completing his apprenticeship as a diesel mechanic in 1978, Mark eventually found his way into sales, which he worked in for nearly twenty years.

Following a relationship breakdown in 1995, he was diagnosed with manic depression, which was when he began to write again, restore his faith and become determined to try and make the world a better place.

Mark is sixty years old, married to Kathie, has a son, Nathan, and three step-children, and his interests include music, travelling, gardening and ten-pin bowling.
