The Reverend Derek Nuttall MBE was a URC Minister and National Director of the bereavement charity Cruse. He played a vital role in helping the village of Aberfan, South Wales, recover from the tragedy of October 1966, when a coal mining waste tip slid onto their school and killed 116 children and 28 adults.
