R. David Rosin
R. David Rosin was born in Southern Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, where he was educated at St George’s College. His father was a surgeon and his mother the only woman MP who became leader of the opposition after Ian Smith’s declaration of UDI. He studied medicine in England and worked as a ship’s surgeon, travelling the world. During his postgraduate surgical training, he worked in Hong Kong and the USA before becoming a consultant surgeon in London. He has operated in more than twenty countries. Every year with his family, he visited his parents in Zimbabwe. He is passionate about the protection of animals in the wild.
