Rita Turvey never dreamed of being a writer but the stories in her mind developed to the point that she decided to write them down and share them with others. She grew up in Southern California; her family activities include camping, fishing, skiing, hiking, and horseback riding. The lifelong love for nature and animals is reflected in her writing. When not writing or working, she enjoys agility running with Lilly and works to make pet products for her business.
