Bampa
After spending most of his working life in the high-pressured world of electronics, Phillip decided to step back from this stressful life and in 2004, he and his wife of 42 years, Jackie, emigrated to Portugal.
In 2012, the lure of their family brought them back to the UK.
He started writing after making up bedtime stories for his children some 40 years ago and he found that it came naturally to him to turn those stories into poems.
He only started to consider publishing after constant pressure from his wife and daughter, Katie, (his greatest fans other than his granddaughters, Freya and Rowan) after his return from Portugal.
