Having been a third culture kid, growing up in India, Arabia and Africa, the author was able to keep all manner of pets from pigeons to peacocks and billy goats to baboons. Bulls are big, soft romantics - loving whistled melodies and sunsets. All of this led him to a deep appreciation of the relationships between animals.
