E.S. Down worked in an office environment for eight years before giving up the train commute to start a family—where she now lives a simple, yet beautifully busy—somewhat chaotic life with her husband and two young sons.

Although, the author is new to the writing world, she is not new to the love of reading. When she is not typing away at her own stories, she is losing herself in the fiction of others.
