Louise Lorraine Croyez
Louise Lorraine Croyez studied fine arts at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art.
Drawing was an early talent of hers and she painted and drew relentlessly throughout her childhood, even being awarded an arts scholarship from University College London at the age of 17. It was this achievement that encouraged her to apply with the other two thousand applicants to earn one of just the twelve places on the bachelor’s degree course and then later on the master’s degree course in fine arts.
During her time at Slade, she was also part of a group named ‘In Turner’s Footsteps’, which was a group of young artists who went to Switzerland on a Tate Gallery / Swiss Tourist Board Scholarship and returned to display their work at the Tate Britain, London.
