Gayle Naranjit was born in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands and resides in South Florida. She is considered a native Floridian, as she has lived in South Florida for over 38 years. This is the first book of her ‘Fireflies’ series. She hopes her books will be well-cherished and contribute to child development, particularly in the areas of language acquisition, cognitive development, and emotional development.
